Although the Deficit Reduction Act resulted in Health and Human Services defining what constitutes work, creating uniform methods for reporting of hours, and establishing documentation standards to verify reports hours; each state has unique rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and forms that greatly impact the work participation rate. 

Rushmore activities are directed at, and focused on, those processes and procedures deemed to possess the greatest potential for improving participation rates in the short-term, as well as those that serve to fundamentally strengthen the opportunity for improved services into the future. Our staff have a wealth of experience in developing, implementing and monitoring TANF work programs.
